Trekking in Valsugana
Near Levico Terme you will find plenty of routes for hiking enthusiasts. You can complete a circuit of Lake Levico while you admire the splendid scenery or you can walk up to an important historic building that dates to World Wat I, such as Forte Pizzo. If you enjoy a challenge, then you can try hiking up to Cima Panarotta and Lupa di Lagorai, or enjoy the stunning scenery from the path up to Lake Erdemolo.
Valle dei Mocheni
There are those who cale it the “enchanted valley” and it is definitely one of the most stunning beauty spots in Trentino-South Tyrol. Even an author like Robert Musil was astounded by the scenery in Valle dei Mocheni. An essential point of reference when it comes to understanding the culture of the local people is without a doubt, the Istituto Culturale Mocheno in Palù del Fersina, but it is also worth visiting Der Filzerhof - a traditional and perfectly preserved house from the 13th century - and the 16th-century mine and museum, Gruab va Hardimbl.
Alpine Flora and Fauna Centre
A reconstruction of alpine environments with animal and plant species from the area, collections of minerals, insects and reptiles, without forgetting an outdoor park where you will find plenty of trees typically found in Trento's mountains. The Alpine Flora and Fauna Centre is an endless source of information about the nature in Trentino-South Tyrol. The Centre is in Castello Tesino, just half an hour’s drive from our Village.
WWF Oasis in Valtrigona
The Valtrigona Oasis is a small valley in the Lagorai mountain chain, within the municipality of Telve. A visit here means crossing forests of red fir trees, Swiss pines, and larch, as well as enjoying the natural beauty of the typical alpine flora and fauna in an unspoilt natural environment. The Visitors Centre at the Oasis is able provide you with all the info you need.
