The destinations you absolutely need to visit in Trentino-Alto Adige include Trento. Just 20 km from our Village, is all the beauty of Trento’s city centre with its many charming streets and splendid Piazza Duomo, home to the Cathedral of San Virgilio. Trento is also home to Buonconsiglio Castle and to the MUSE, the Science Museum designed by Renzo Piano. Six floors dedicated to nature, the mountains, technology, and sustainability.
Mediterranean meets Tyrolean tradition in this city, which is steeped in history, and has a green heart. You can set out from our Village and be in Bolzano in just one hour. Once there, you can enjoy the typical hostelries (one of the oldest being the Batzenhäusl) and also tour the city centre, where you can visit the gothic Maria Assunta cathedral or Museion, the museum of modern and contemporary art. But Bolzano is also about hiking and cycling along the routes in the city or which depart from it, such as the Passeggiata di Sant’Osvaldo or the Pista Ciclabile dell’Oltradige.
Nature, relaxation and good food are always typical features of a holiday in Trentino-South Tyrol. The Road of Wine and Flavours is a route that is just waiting to be discovered, with excellent local food and wine such as Caprino Erborinato cheese, Marzemino wine, Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP Garda Trentino, Lucanica sausage from Trentino, Alto Adige IGP Speck, Moena Blu cheese, salted meat, and Riesling. Because naturally, food has always been one of the best reflection of a local culture.
