Rising amidst its blue lagoons, with the red brick bridges linking its canals, Comacchio is the most original and charming historic centre of the Po Delta. It has a very long history, preserved in the timeless atmosphere of a place inextricably linked to the unique environment that surrounds it. Cultural attractions, such as the Ancient Delta Museum or monuments like the Trepponti and the Duomo of San Cassiano, have made it so famous.
Just over 100 kilometres from Spina Family Camping Village is San Marino, a city (and also a small republic) with a wealth of history waiting to be discovered. It has nine castles to visit, but its rich medieval heritage also lies in the tradition of its crossbowmen and in the urban structure of the city centre. Do not forget to keep your dog on a leash at all times, for the safety of everyone.
